As I am sitting here in the library studying for my final which is in a few hours, all I can think about is going to Jerusalem and how in 11 days I will be en route. All I have to get through is 5 finals in 5 days, pack up my entire apartment (which I haven't started yet), and pack my bags (which I have ZERO clothes for). Not to mention drive home, sleep, and enjoy the few days with my parents! I am a little stressed but it will all work out.
I can't wait to write on this blog for all (3 of you) who will be reading! Now back to studying Humanities and less thinking about Jerusalem

Katie, I love the name of your blog. Dad laughed at your picture on your profile because your blog is nice jewish men but you are standing in front of the Vatican in Rome! We are so excited for you to go to Jerusalem and all of the great experiences you will have there. Good luck with finals and don't worry about getting ready to go, we will help you! Love ya, Mom
ReplyDeleteKatie,
ReplyDeleteI went to Jerusalem in 2007 and LOVED it. Next to Italy, it is my favorite place in the world. I love that I have a cousin that is single past the "normal age of 19" :) and is traveling the world. You're a girl after my own heart! Good luck finding clothes. That was so hard for me because nothing could be short or cap sleeves only 3/4 length-ish and it was blazing hot in Masada and other places so I wanted my clothes to not be too hot. With your mom's shopping skills, you'll be fine though. Have fun! It will change your life if you let it.
